Congratulations, all of you! Today is Victory day, when WWII was over! We celebrate it with great gratitude to all soldiers who sacrificed their lives for peace on our lands! We Russians will eternally remember people who fought for peace - Soviet, British, French, American, Chinese and many other. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten
Today was a parade that took place in Red Square in Moscow to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the capitulation of Nazi Germany in 1945! The annual parade marks the Allied victory in the Second World War at the Eastern Front, on the same day as the signing of the German act of capitulation to the Allies in Berlin, at midnight of May 9, 1945.

Too bad our allies in WWII - UK, France, US refused to join parade to celebrate this great day with us because of stupid policy. But I think they didn't insult Russia with their "boycott", they insulted themselves, their veterans, their nations and memory of all victims of WWII.

But still we congratulate all of you with Victory!
Ура! Ура! Ура!

UPDATE.
I forgot to tell you about amazing event Russia organized - Immortal regiment. Immortal regiment — public event held in Russia and some countries of near and far abroad on the Day of Victory, during which participants go column and carry banners with the portraits of their relatives who participated in the World War II (Great Patriotic War, as it called in Russia). So many people of all ages united together around the world to honour relatives who sacrificed their lives in WWII.
